Job Description: 

The Department of Philosophy and Religion at Northeastern University seeks to fill a position of Assistant Teaching Professor in philosophy beginning September 2016. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to and experience in undergraduate teaching and will be able to teach Business Ethics, other courses in applied ethics, and Introduction to Philosophy. This is a non-tenure-track position with one year, renewable contracts. Teaching Professor positions have a promotion track which include multi-year contracts. The standard teaching load is six courses per year. A Ph.D. or equivalent is required by time of appointment and teaching experience at the university level.
