Assistant Professor in Early Modern Philosophy (Berkeley Studies) Tenure Track

Trinity College Dublin has a long and distinguished tradition in scholarship on George Berkeley, who was a Fellow of the College. This includes the editor of the collected edition of Berkeley’s works, A.A. Luce and his student David Berman. The Department of Philosophy is seeking to appoint an assistant professor to continue this tradition and is looking for an Early Modern Philosophy scholar with specialisation in Berkeley Studies. The successful candidate will also have competency in digital humanities, helping to make available the manuscript resources of TCD library and leading the use of new technologies in the Philosophy Dept.

Appointment will be made at a maximum of the 8th point of the New Assistant Professor Merged Salary Scale.
